City unveils official city ornament

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The City of Columbia is already in the holiday spirit.

Mayor Daniel Rickenmann unveiled this year’s official city ornament at City Hall.

This year’s ornament features ‘tunnel vision’ the mural in downtown painted by Artist Blue Sky.

Each year the Mayor of Columbia unveils the Babcock Center Foundation’s “ornament of opportunity” and proclaims the ornament the “official city ornament”.

The Babcock Center offers a wide range of services to support people with life-long disabilities.
