South Carolina fires offensive coordinator Mike Shula following 4th straight SEC loss

COLUMBIA, S.C.  – University of South Carolina head coach Shane Beamer announced today that he has relieved offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Mike Shula of his duties, effective immediately.

South Carolina is in the bottom of the SEC in most statistical offensive categories including: Scoring: 19.7 PPG, Total offense: 294.1 YPG, Rushing: 100.8 YPG and Passing: 193.3 YPG

The Gamecocks (3-6, 1-6 SEC) have an open date this week before playing at No. 3 Texas A&M on November 15.
