30-year-old arrested in reference to weekend Camp Ground Road shooting

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott says a 30-year-old has been arrested in reference to a fatal shooting that happened over the weekend.
The sheriff’s department says on November 1, at approximately 1:15 a.m., deputies responded to the 600 block of Camp Ground Road in reference to a fatal shooting.
When deputies arrived to the scene, they found one adult victim.
EMS pronounced the victim deceased at the scene, according to RCSD.

The investigation revealed the shooting occurred following an altercation between De Anthony Lopez Huff and the deceased victim.
Huff is charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
He is booked into the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center and is awaiting a bond hearing.
