UPDATE: Lexington deputies say person of interest in a shooting is in custody

LEXINGTON CO., S.C. (WOLO) – Lexington County deputies say a person of interest in a shooting is now in custody.

Authorities say Jacob Hill, 32, is a person of interest in a shooting Friday morning on Hartley Quarter Road.

Deputies were searching for him in the Pelion area, which caused Lexington School District One to place Pelion schools on secure status that day.

Again, deputies have Hill in custody.

The investigation into the shooting continues.
