31-year-old woman arrested in connection with domestic stabbing incident

IRMO, S.C. (WOLO)– A 31-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with a domestic incident that happened on Wednesday, say officers.

Irmo Police say 31-year-old Kalen Logan was arrested after officers received a call at 9:55 p.m. on Nov. 12, about an reported domestic incident.

Officers arrived to the scene and rendered aid to both involved individuals.

A firearm was recovered during the investigation, according to Irmo PD.

Both Logan and the other person was taken for medical treatment for non–life-threatening injuries prior to Logan’s arrest.

Logan was charged with attempted murder and kidnapping in relation to the altercation that investigators say caused the other person to receive multiple stab wounds.

Irmo Police Chief Bobby Dale states, “This was an isolated domestic incident, and there is no ongoing threat to our community. The investigation remains active, and additional details will be released as appropriate.”
