Community receives new fitness court at Rosewood Park

(CNN)– Neighbors in the Rosewood community have a new way to stay healthy.

Monday morning, Nov. 17, City of Columbia officials along with Prisma Health held a ribbon cutting ceremony for a new fitness court located in Rosewood Park.

Officials say the court provides the community with free fitness infrastructure that allows users to leverage their own body weight through seven movements, core, squat, push, lunge, pull, agility, and bend.

And it is designed for people of all ages and abilities.

Just like everything else these days, officials say the fitness court has an app you can download for guided workouts, challenges, and digital coaching.
