Local high school, rotary club spread peace on earth

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The Spring Valley and Woodcreek Rotary Clubs are spreading peace on earth and goodwill toward men.

Tuesday morning, Nov. 18, the group erected a ‘peace pole’ outside of the main entrance of Spring Valley High School.

Members say the pole is a visual reminder of the rotary international message of peace.

According to the Rotary Club, there are more than 250 thousand peace polls across the world.
