Man accused of chronic sexual abuse of minor sentenced to 50 years

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Officials say a man has been sentenced to 50 years in prison after pleading guilty to criminal sexual conduct with a minor in the first degree.
Alan Rojas Santos, 39, pled guilty on Nov. 17, in Lexington County.
Investigators say on October 23, 2024, the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report of a sexual assault that happened in the county.
After an investigation into the incident, the victim disclosed that Alan Rojas Santos began sexually abusing her at the age of eight.
The abuse spanned for several years and he ultimately confessed, say deputies.
Santos was taken to the South Carolina Department of Corrections to begin to serve his sentence.
