Two charged in death of NC man after remains found in Midlands

Fairfield Co., S.C. (WOLO)– Deputies in Fairfield County say two people are charged in connection with the death of a North Carolina man.
Investigators say 33 year old Jonathan Shores was shot and killed on November 9th in Lexington, North Carolina.
Deputies say his remains were found last Thursday in a wooded area off of Newberry road in Winnsboro.
Working with the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office in North Carolina, Fairfield County deputies say Jose Lopez is charged with murder and Brennan Alexander is charged with accessory after the fact.
