Railroad crossing closing on Pebble Gate Road for emergency repair

IRMO, S.C. (WOLO)– Officials with Southern Commercial Development, LLC say CSX Transportation will be doing an emergency track repair in Irmo.

Officials say Pebble Gate Road will have a total closure of the roadway on Monday, Dec. 1, at 8:30 a.m. due to a sperry defect being identified.

The roadway is set to reopen on Tuesday, Dec. 2, by 6 a.m.

The total closure means no traffic will be allowed across the track until the work is complete.

Southern Commercial Development, LLC says signage will be in place marking detour routes.
