Richland County deputies looking for person who ran from traffic stop

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Richland County deputies are looking for a suspect who they say ran from a traffic stop last week.

Investigators say last Thursday night deputies attempted to stop the car for illegally tinted windows.

But the suspect drove off, eventually hitting a dead-end at the Riverwalk Vista Apartments.

according to investigators, the suspect then ran into the woods.

deputies say they found a gun, but were unable to locate the suspect.
