1st-time jobless claims drop

(CNN)– The so-called “low-hire, low-fire” market remains steady.

For the third time in as many weeks, first-time claims for unemployment benefits dropped.

U.S. Labor Department data shows a drop of six-thousand claims to roughly 216-thousand which is the lowest amount since April.

Analysts say although initial claims haven’t increased on a weekly basis.. many Americans who have recently lost their jobs are having a hard time finding new ones.
