SCHP: One dead after Tuesday collision
RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– SC Highway Patrol says one driver is dead following a collision in Richland County Tuesday.
According to troopers, just before 6:30 in the morning, a tractor trailer stopped for traffic on Garners Ferry Road near the intersection of Trotter Road when a vehicle rear-ended the trailer.
The driver died at the scene.
Emergency crews took the tractor-trailer driver to the hospital.
The Richland County Coroner’s Office has not yet released the victim’s identity.
