RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Richland County deputies have arrested someone after a string of burglaries at dental offices in the northeast Columbia area, say law enforcement.
Deputies say they responded to three burglaries at different dental office locations in the northeast Columbia area over the course of a week and half.
The burglaries happened in the early morning hours of November 14 at two locations, and November 24.
During an investigation, Joshua Spencer was identified as a suspect by physical evidence deputies say was gathered at the locations.
Spencer was arrested on Weds, Nov. 26, and charged with three counts of burglary 2nd degree (violent), grand larceny (more than $2000, less than $10,000), and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
He was taken to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center and is currently detained with a $50,000 surety bond.
RCSD says more charges may be pending into other burglaries in the area, as the investigation is ongoing.
