Sheriff clears Blythewood mayor accused of incident at Doko Manor

BLYTHEWOOD, S.C. (WOLO)– Blythewood Mayor Sloan Griffin says an investigation into his office ended with no charges.

Griffin says the investigation was in response to a September 11th incident at Doko Manor.

The allegations were outlined in a lawsuit in which Sloan was accused of holding a woman and her child against their will inside the building.

According to Sloan, after a comprehensive review of statements, video footage, and all available evidence deputies found no basis for criminal charges.
