ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Sheriff Leroy Ravenell says that three more arrests have been made in connection with the fatal November 17 shooting that happened in Orangeburg.

Sheriff Ravenell says 18-years-old Anthony Fersner, 19-year-old Travon Mack, and also 17-year-old Kamari Williams have all been taken into custody on a charge of murder.

“A reward from the US Marshals Service rooted out one subject and made someone’s Christmas a lot merrier,” the sheriff states.

A reward offered by the US Marshals Service for Fersner and Mack had been put into place last week.

Fersner and Williams were taken into custody on Monday, Dec. 8, after receiving a tip, according to the Orangeburg Co. Sheriff’s Office.

“Another felt the pressure of my deputies not far behind him resulting in that subject turning himself in,” Ravenell explains.

And Mack turned himself in to Orangeburg County Sheriff’s deputies on Monday night, Dec. 8.

Derron Holloway and Jaden Ferguson, both 18 had previously been charged with murder in connection with the case.

The charges against the five people stem from a fatal shooting on Mingo Street that left one man dead.

“I just want to thank the US Marshals for their tremendous help in this, my deputies out there who wouldn’t give up, and the citizen who called in the tip we needed,” continues Ravenell.
