24-year-old arrested in connection with the sexual exploitation of minors

SEX / SEXUAL EXPLOITATION OF A MINOR, THIRD DEGREE

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– SC Attorney General Alan Wilson says a 24-year-old has been arrested in connection with the sexual exploitation of minors.

Francisco Simon Francisco Tomas, of Gaston has been arrested on on five charges connected to the sexual exploitation of minors.

Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force investigators with the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department made the arrest.

Investigators with the Attorney General’s Office, also a member of the state’s ICAC Task Force, assisted with the investigation.

The AG’s Office says investigators received a CyberTipline report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), which led them to Tomas.

Investigators state Tomas possessed files of child sexual abuse material, and was arrested on Tuesday, December 16.
