Person arrested for carrying weapon on SC State campus

ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A 19-year-old has been arrested for carrying a weapon on SC State campus, says SLED.

Investigators with SLED say 19-year-old Lucas Bradley of Columbia was charged on Thursday, Dec. 18, with carrying a weapon on school property.

According to an incident report, on October 4th, surveillance video taken at Hugine Suites showed Bradley with a handgun.

Investigators say there were two shootings on campus that evening that they are continuing to investigate.

One of the shooting resulted in the death of 19-year-old Jaliyah Butler.
