Measles continue to spread in the Upstate
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The measles outbreak in the Upstate continues to grow.
According to the SC Department of Public Health there are nine new cases since last Friday, Dec 19.
That brings the total number of cases in the outbreak to 153.
Officials say out of the new cases, five were exposed by someone in the home while two were from a previously reported school exposure.
Health officials are working to determine any additional sources.
