LOCAL LIVING: COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, even though Christmas has come and gone there is still plenty of holiday fun in the Midlands.
You can head to Riverbanks Zoo’s annual Wild Lights event tonight (Friday, Dec. 26).
It’s from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on select nights through January 11.
It’s closed on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
You can enjoy 60 larger-than-life handcrafted wildlife lantern displays and much more.
You still have time to see the Fireflies Holiday Lights at Segra Park.
It’s open from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. each night through January 3, but it’s closed on New Year’s Day.
You and the family can ride the Fireflies Express to see over a million lights, and much more.
The Midland’s largest drive-thru light show is underway.
Holiday Lights On The River is open nightly from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Saluda Shoals Park through December 31.
It is never too early to start making your New Year’s Eve plans.
Friday, Dec. 26, the City of Columbia announced this year’s Capital City Fireworks display which will start just after midnight.
It will take place on the north side of the State House near the intersection of Main and Gervais Streets.
City officials say parking at metered spots and in city garages near downtown will be free for the event.
