Sumter PD asking for public help finding missing 60-year-old woman with dementia

SUMTER, S.C. (WOLO)– Officers with the Sumter PD is asking for public help finding a missing 60-year-old woman who has dementia, say police.

Police say Rose Mary Brown who has dementia walked off from Prisma Health Tuomey after 8 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 29.

Hospital security footage shows Brown walking across Washington Street away from the hospital and then proceeding toward Calhoun Street, crossing the street, and then continuing towards Broad Street.

Brown is 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs about 165 lbs. and was wearing a black jacket, gray pants, shiny shoes, and carrying a black and white bag and a light brown bag, say police.
