Health insurance prices increase

(CNN)– Millions of Americans are now facing higher health insurance prices as some Affordable Care Act subsidies expire with the new year.

Lawmakers did not extend Obamacare ‘enhanced premium subsidies,’ enacted by the Biden Administration as part of a pandemic relief package.

The House is expected to vote inJanuary on a democratic proposal to extend them for three years.

However, the effort faces significant hurdles in the Senate.
