Local Living: SC State Museum Disney exhibit, Winter season holiday lights

LOCAL LIVING: COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, this is the last weekend to check out Disney’s Heroes and Villains Costume Exhibit at the state museum.

From now to Sunday, Jan 4, 2026, you can see 70 costumes on display worn by iconic characters like Maleficent and Jack Sparrow.

There’s still time to head to Riverbanks Zoo’s annual Wild Lights event tonight (Friday, Jan. 2, 2026).

It’s from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on select nights through Jan. 11.

You can enjoy 60 larger-than-life handcrafted wildlife lantern displays and much more.

Time is running out to head to Segra Park for the Fireflies Holiday Lights.

It’ll be open from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. tonight (Friday, Jan 2, 2026), and tomorrow (Saturday, Jan. 3, 2026).

You and the family can ride the Fireflies Express to see over a million lights, enjoy some food, and so much more.
