City of Colmubia to hold swearing-in ceremony for mayor, council members

COLUMBIA, S.C.(WOLO)– On Monday, Jan. 5, the City of Columbia will host a swearing-in ceremony for the mayor and city council members.

Mayor Daniel Rickenmann will be sworn-in after winning re-election this past November.

At-large Councilman-elect Sam Johnson, District 1 Councilwoman Tina Herbert, and District 4 Councilman Peter Brown will also be sworn-in.

The ceremony starts at 6 p.m. at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center on Lincoln Street.
