Juvenile found safe, say Lexington Co. deputies
The Latest:
LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Lexington Co. deputies say Mackenzie Dalton has been located in Lexington County, and she is safe.
Investigators do not believe Dalton was ever held against her will or with someone she didn’t want to be with.
Additionally, investigators say 18-year-old Mackenzie Keith English Jr. was arrested in connection with the case.

He is accused of lying to investigators about being with Dalton and his knowledge of her location.

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Lexington Co. deputies are asking for tips on the whereabouts of an endangered juvenile runaway, says the sheriff’s dept.
Investigators are looking for 16-year-old Mackenzie Dalton who left her home in late November.
Dalton is 5’4” and weighs 118 pounds.
Lexington County Sheriff’s Department says the car Mackenzie drove away in and the suitcase she took from her home have been recovered.
The teen is believed to be traveling with a man she knows.
