Columbia PD officers investigating after man found dead outside

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia PD officers are investigating after a man was found outside dead, says the police dept.

Law enforcement responded around 7 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 8, to the corner of Taylor, and Assembly Streets after two people passing by in the area saw a body and called 911.

Investigators say foul play is not suspected at this time.

And Richland Co. Coroner’s Office will determine the cause of death.
