Puppy Bowl XXII to spotlight senior dogs

(CNN)– It’s almost time for Animal Planet’s annual Puppy Bowl.

Team Ruff will take on Team Fluff.

This year’s canine sports event on Super Bowl Sunday will look a little different for the first time, there will 15 pups with special needs.

And, a special exhibition game will spotlight senior dogs available for adoption, Team Oldies versus Team Goldies.

In all, the Puppy Bowl will highlight 150 dogs from more than 70 shelters.

The three-hour show will air on February 8th at 2 p.m. eastern standard time.
