AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A fundraiser is being held for the family who lost a five-year-old girl on New Year’s Eve.
It happened around 4 p.m. that afternoon on Rayborn Road in Aiken County.
The coroner identified the victim as Merinn Purcell.
Officials say she was in the front yard of a home when she was hit by a car.
