New Girl Scout cookie announced for 2026 selling season

(CNN)– Girl Scouts are unboxing a new cookie flavor for 2026.

As this year’s national cookie season kicks off, you’ll see “Exploremores” alongside fan favorites in the lineup.

It’s a Rocky Road Ice Cream–inspired sandwich cookie  filled with flavors of chocolate, marshmallow, and toasted almond–flavored creme.

Girl Scout cookie season runs from January through April.

The organization says cookie sales help teach entrepreneurial skills for girls and fund experiences like service projects, troop travel, and summer camp.
