Sumter PD searching for man wanted following December disturbance

SUMTER, S.C. (WOLO)– Sumter PD requesting help finding someone wanted following a December disturbance, said officers.

Detrone Dartanial Jenkins, 35, of Dalzell, is wanted on firearms-related warrants following a disturbance on Dec. 4 at a Wright Street home.

Jenkins was identified as a suspect when a gun was pulled and pointed at individuals involved in an argument that started during a gathering at the Wright Street home.

Investigators say Jenkins is likely armed and should be considered dangerous.
