Columbia man charged for DUI crash that killed mother, and infant

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A Columbia man has been charged for a DUI crash that killed a mother and her infant on Christmas Eve.

27-year-old Lee Little is charged with two counts of felony DUI involving death, one count of felony DUI with great bodily injury, and transporting an open bottle of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

Highway Patrol says Little was driving the wrong way on Platt Springs Road when he collided head-on with 24-year-old Gloria Martinez Alonso’s vehicle.

Alonso and her 1-year-old daughter died at the scene.

Little is being held at the Lexington County Detention Center.
