(CNN)– The Trump Administration reached an agreement with drug-maker Abbvie that it says will drop the price of some medicines.
Abbvie officials say they will offer these medications to Medicaid and consumers at the lowest price available in peer countries.
Other medications will also be sold at discounted costs.
Among the drugs that are part of “most favored nation” pricing includes Combigan which treats glaucoma, and synthroid which is a thyroid hormone medication.
The specifics of the discounts were not disclosed.
