Stop for drink leads to Lottery win, SC Lottery officials say

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– A Midlands woman who stopped to get something to drink, ended up being a lottery winner, said officials.

SC Lottery officials said the woman bought a drink and got her favorite $3 Bingo ticket at the In and Out Market on Trotter Road in Columbia.

“It was exciting,” she stated about the big win.

Four more top prizes remain in the game, and the odds of winning $75,000 playing Bingo are 1 in 528,000.

“I know that money isn’t everything, but this will sure help me out,” she told South Carolina Education Lottery officials after cashing in the winning ticket.
