ABC Columbia’s Kelly Coakley reads to elementary students

LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO)– ABC Columbia’s Kelly Coakley had a chance to sit down with some special kids at a local elementary school Friday morning (Jan. 16, 2026).

Coakley took part in Meadow Glen Elementary’s One School, One Book event in Lexington.

She read “The Most Magnificent Team” to Ms. Guo’s first-grade class and talked about the importance of learning to work together.

Several members of local law enforcement, high school coaches, business leaders, a college athlete, and others also read the book to various classes.
