Kershaw Co. coroner identifies passenger after two-vehicle collision

KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The Kershaw County Coroner’s Office has released the name of the person who died after a two-vehicle collision, says officials.

According to the coroner’s office, the two-vehicle collision happened on Saturday, Jan. 17, around 1:50 p.m. at Mt Pisgah and McBee Highway Intersection known as Hy 903.

Officials say an SUV ran through the stop sign hitting a pickup truck.

The deceased was a passenger in the SUV who is from the Camden area.

He was identified as 25-year-old Josue Garcia Canales, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
