Vietnam Vet James L. Greene heading back to Hamburger Hill in February
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – Curtis had a chance to speak with a Vietnam Veteran about his upcoming trip to revisit the Battle of Hamburger Hill.
James L. Greene, awarded 3 Purple Hearts and 3 Bronze Service Stars for his service, is headed back to Hamburger Hill with his fellow comrades on February 1 – 12.
He spoke about the importance of taking the trip back to the battlefield where he saved many lives.
