SC job market remains stable

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The SC Department of Employment and Workforce released the latest South Carolina job numbers.

Department Director William Floyd says December’s employment report shows that the state’s labor market remains stable.

Floyd says the unemployment ticked up slightly to 4.8% but he attributes that to an influx of people leaving the job market.
