Columbia firefighters respond to Saturday morning restaurant fire

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia firefighters say no injuries were reported in a restaurant fire on Saturday morning, Jan. 31.

Firefighters responded to Hibachi Express on North Beltline Boulevard.

All workers inside escaped safely, but the building was left with significant damages.

According to investigators, the fire started with a heating device that was placed on the floor.
