SC Attorney General Alan Wilson urges Congress to pass Kids Online Safety Act

 

 

 

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson says he is part of a bi-partisan effort, urging Congress to pass the Kids Online Safety Act.

The proposed law would establish guidelines to protect minors from harmful material on social media and require companies to disable ‘addictive’ design features for children.

40 state attorneys general signed the letter representing both Democrats and Republicans.
