Ring ends partnership with Flock Safety

 

 

(CNN)– Ring is responding after its Super Bowl commercial got a lot of people talking.

That ad showed how Ring owners can share their camera’s video to help owners of lost dogs find their animals.

It immediately drew concern from people worried about how else that type of Ai technology might be used.

Now Amazon, which owns Ring, announced it is ending its partnership with Flock Safety.

That company lets Ring owners share video with law enforcement agencies.

Amazon claims it realized the integration would have cost too much time and money.
