Roads to close as emergency sewer line repairs begin in Cayce

CAYCE, S.C. (WOLO)– City of Cayce officials say beginning on Monday, certain areas will be closed to local traffic as emergency sewer line repairs start.

Streets impacted by sewer line repairs:

  • Michaelmas Avenue between 8th and 10th Streets
  • Oakland Avenue between 7th and 8th Streets

These blocks will be closed to local traffic only during construction.

In addition, the intersection of Michaelmas Avenue and 9th Street will be closed during the hours of 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. while construction is underway, say city officials.

The work is expected to be completed in about two weeks.
