Lexington County Coroner identifies person after Old Orangeburg Rd collision
LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The Lexington County Coroner’s Office has released the name of the person died following a two-vehicle collision, say officials.
The collision happened on Friday, Feb. 13, 2026, around 3:20 p.m. in the 1000 block of Old Orangeburg Road in the Lexington area of Lexington County.
According to Coroner Fisher, Brian Westley Deloach , 56, of Lexington was traveling westbound on Old Orangeburg Road when he crossed left of the center and hit a vehicle that was traveling eastbound on Old Orangeburg Road.
Deloach who was wearing a seatbelt was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the other vehicle was taken to an area hospital also with what was reported to be minor injuries.
Lexington County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol are continuing to investigate the collision.
