TSA workers hit by government shutdown

(CNN)– Transportation Security Administration workers will receive only a portion of their next paycheck, according to a union official representing TSA workers.

The reduced pay comes as the partial government shutdown ends its second week with no resolution in sight.

TSA union leaders say many employees are already struggling financially.

These smaller paychecks will be the last many DHS employees receive until Congress comes to an agreement to fund DHS for part or all of the fiscal year which ends September 30.
