Lexington County Peach Festival back on this year

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– South Carolina’s sweetest Summer tradition the Lexington County Peach Festival is back on this year for 4th of July.

Last month the decision was made to cancel the festival.

But officials working on the festival reversed the decision.

In a post on Facebook organizers said, “because of the community’s response, new volunteers stepping forward, sponsors leaning in, leaders offering support, we are beyond proud to announce the Lexington County Peach Festival is back on for Saturday, July 4, 2026”.

They are currently looking for vendors and volunteers.

The Peach Festival will take place at the Gilbert Community Park.

It’s free to attend.
