Sumter Co. coroner identifies person after collision

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Sumter County Coroner Robert Baker has identified the person who died after a collision on Monday, says the coroner’s office.

The collision happened on Monday, March 2, around 9:30 p.m. on Yarborough Road, and Goodman Road.

According to Coroner Baker, 44-year-old, John Goodman of Sumter was involved in a single-vehicle collision.

An autopsy will be performed on Friday at the Medical University in Charleston.

Sumter Co. Coroner’s Office, and the Sumter Co. Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
