Local Living: Shamrock Parade, St. Pat’s in Five Points, Craftsmen’s Spring Classic, Bark to the Park

 

 

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, Lexington County is going green with the 11th annual Shamrock Parade this Sunday, March 8.

Presented by the Lexington County Blowfish the parade starts at 3 p.m. on Main Street.

You and the family can get in the St. Patty’s Day spirit with Irish dancers, parade floats, live music and so much more.

 

The Irish fun doesn’t stop there.

The 44th annual St. Pat’s in Five Points Festival starts next Saturday, March 14.

From 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. there will be a day jam-packed with a 5-k/10-k race, live music,  the St. Pat’s Parade on Devine Street, and much more.

 

The Craftsmen’s Spring Classic is back at the state fairgrounds this weekend.

It’s from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, March 6, and tomorrow, Saturday, March 7.

And from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 8.

You can get several items ranging from pottery, jewelry, clothing, woodwork and more.

 

Pawmetto Lifeline’s 18th annual Bark to the Park is tomorrow, March 7.

It starts at 11 in the morning at Saluda Shoals Park.

The Mardi Gras themed event is packed with a car show, a fun walk, pet contests and more.

It’s $50 to register per person and $35 for kids 6 to 12.
