2 arrested in connection with sexual exploitation of minors

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson says two men were arrested in connection with the sexual exploitation of minors.

Investigators received CyberTipline reports from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) which led them to Luther Cain Dawkins and Ronnie Maurice Sanders.

Investigators state Dawkins possessed files of child sexual abuse material and Sanders distributed files of child sexual abuse material.

Dawkins was arrested on March 4, 2026, and charged with three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor in relation to his case.

Sanders was arrested on March 10, 2026, and charged with six counts of sexual exploitation of a minor in relation to his case.

These cases will be prosecuted by the Attorney General’s Office.
