Honda expects to lose $15.7 billion

(CNN)– Honda says it expects a more than $15 billion hit tied to electric vehicles.
The company announced it plans to cancel development and launch for three electric vehicle models.
The Japanese automaker cites a slowdown in the U.S. EV market, and competition in China.
Honda follows Ford, Stellantis and GM which also posted multi-billion-dollar charges.
