Local Living: Disability celebration day, Read Freely Fest, U.S. Air Force Band

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, the state museum is hosting a disability celebration day this weekend.
Guests will have an opportunity to make their mark by joining a community art creation.
There will also be a silent disco with lights and sound via headphones, hands-on history stations, and tactile materials from NASA.
It takes place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday, March 14.

Read Freely Fest returns to the Richland Library later this month.
The free event features talks with best-selling authors, book signings, and interactive activities that take you beyond the pages.
This year’s lineup includes Congressman James Clyburn.
It takes place march 27th through the 29th.

The U.S. Air Force Band is performing across the Palmetto State this month, and ABC Columbia’s Tyler Ryan got a preview of the sounds.
