Apple adds new background security

(CNN)–Apple is rolling out a new security feature that works behind the scenes.

It’s called Background Security Improvements.

It delivers small fixes without waiting for full updates.

The security patches target systems like Safari, system libraries, and Apple’s webkit engine which includes Apple’s mail and app store apps.

The new security feature can be turned off in settings.
